World in the City is a national project of AIESEC in Croatia that aims to educate participants about different languages and cultures. The main task of the interns is creating interactive classes for different groups that includes maximum 20 people and plan the workshops based on 4 programs of basic literacy, which are; understanding, listening, comprehending and writing. Intern could work with faculty or high school students.

Intern is going to develop his/her soft skills, also will develop leadership skills in the entire project. At the end of the process, intern will see the impact he/she created on the local community.

The main task of the intern will be creating and holding sessions where he/she will teach the basics of his/her native language to various age groups in the local city. Intern needs to give a general knowledge to participants about how to communicate in different countries and their native languages.

The intern must be flexible and ready to adapt and alter the content of the course if necessary, to ensure maximum quality of the course and maximum overall learning potential of participants. The intern should strive to make each lecture as interesting as possible, using knowledge of his own culture to ensure that participants better understand the language, native speakers and culture.
The intern will cooperate and coordinate with the Project Management team throughout the project to ensure synergy and maximum possible quality of the project.
The intern has to create an exam at the end of the project to test the overall success of the course, its participants and the intern him/herself. Also, the intern has to write the necessary reports team for tracking the quality of the projects.
The intern will be responsible for tracking of the participant satisfaction throughout the project and their learning progress. Also, the intern will work with local AIESEC-ers on the project.
